As per the Houston Chronicle article posted this morning, Blue Fish IS expecting to get enough H1N1 flu vaccine to meet our patients’ needs. The State is releasing the H1N1 vaccine in batch quantities all the way through January of 2010. We will post on our website and send out an email alert when we receive the injectable H1N1 flu vaccine (as of today, we still HAVE NOT received our shipment of injectable H1N1 flu vaccine).
The first H1N1 flu vaccine clinic will go on as scheduled on November 7th whether or not we have received the injectable form by that date. Please remember that we will have several H1N1 flu vaccine clinics for our patients in the upcoming months depending on our stock. We expect a large demand on November 7th, and anticipate an increasing supply and a decreasing demand as the year progresses.
